Adventure with Purpose

Saturday, June 15, 2019

Description

Over the course of his travels, from glacier crossing to collecting ice samples to analyze water and carbon, Vincent Colliard puts his adventures to good use by actively participating in the fight against climate change. By collecting data and images, he seeks to illustrate just how damaged the environment really is and to entice people to bring about change for a more sustainable future.

Vincent Colliard

Since 2014, Vincent Colliard has been a professional explorer, photographer, and ski expedition guide. Inspired by a childhood nestled between Basque Country mountains and the ocean, then by the tales of adventurers, he's always dreamed of exploring the most remote places on the planet. He is particularly interested in challenging and isolated environments where humans and nature can coexist in harmony. He's been a regular visitor to polar regions for almost 15 years, and made his start alongside the greatest explorers of our time.
